Shuffle’s Customer Relationship Management process

The Customer Relationship Management process that Shuffle uses is a basic system that is easily managed and maintained thru the Shuffle app on your smart phone or thru your browser on a laptop or tablet. This CRM contains all the essential functions and when used in conjunction with the Campaign and Lead Capture features of Shuffle provide a seamless and easy to understand process.

A digital service, Shuffle utilizes a cloud-based CRM system providing real-time data at the office and in the field as long as you are connected to the internet. This provides accessibility to customer information and eliminates the often complicated installation process involved with other CRM products or software.

A simple definition of CRM

CRM (Customer Relationship Management) is the process of managing all your company’s relationships and interactions with customers and potential customers. The goal is to improve business relationships, helping you to stay connected to customers, to streamline processes, and to improve profitability.

CRM usually refers to a system with tools that help you with contact, sales and more; and is used to manage customer relationships across the entire lifecycle, from marketing, to sales, and to customer service. These tools help you to focus on individual people (customers, service users, colleagues, or suppliers); including finding new customers and providing support and additional services.

“Customer relationship management (CRM) is a process in which a business or other organization administers its interactions with customers, typically using data analysis to study large amounts of information.” Wikipedia

Shuffle CRM in Action

This is a follow-up to our marketing campaign article. To recap, I demonstrated how easy it is to set-up a campaign with lead capture in Shuffle. Let’s take a look using that campaign to show the CRM features included with a Shuffle subscription.

When someone clicks on the link for the card I’ve shared, the lead capture will show up at the bottom of the card. To fill out the form is simple and nothing any different from other forms on the Internet. The first field is the First Name, a card mandatory field. I then chose to have a Short Field for a mandatory email address.

For the lead capture demonstration, I used all the options available thru Shuffle and I will be filling out all the blocks. As I noted in the previous article, I typically try and keep my lead captures as short as possible to encourage responses. The next three fields all are titled “I would like to know more about:” with the same series of answers; “Sharing my card”, “Lead Capture Forms”, and “Campaigns”.

  • The first block is a Radiobox (Only one selectable item). I checked Campaigns.
  • Next is the Dropdown menu, also with only one selectable item. I chose Lead Capture Forms.
  • The third set is a Checkbox (Multiple selectable items) and I checked all of the answers.
  • The next block is Upload Business Card Photo and I put in my selected photo or image from my computer.

Last, I used a Long Text block with fill in the answer. There is a 500 character limit for the Text block, more than enough for a question or comment. I asked about pricing and costs; just something to demonstrate what happens inside the Shuffle office.

And, of course, is the checkbox for “I agree to terms of use” and the “Privacy Policy” and the Submit button.

I set the push notifications from Shuffle on my phone for when anyone viewed my card and for when anyone filled out my lead capture. Both worked perfectly and I have up to date notifications and a new contact automatically entered in my Shuffle office.

My notification about the lead capture on my phone read “New lead captured, new contact Gunner received from Test and Play demo campaign”. Now, let’s go inside Shuffle and see the new contact.

From the Shuffle back office, I select “Contacts” and the Gunner contact I just entered/received is under the “Info” tab. Name and email, and 2 tags: “Lead Capture” and “Test and Play Demo”. The Business card photo is displayed and I have the additional data from the four question blocks (headings and the answers).

Under the “Activity” tab I have the notification that I received a new contact. “Activity” also give me a date and time for interactions thru Shuffle itself, including cards shared, received and any action taken on thise cards.

I can enter any “Note” I wish for further reference. A great place to add any outside Shuffle communications such as emails, phone, or face to face meetings. I use it to maintain a personal connection with clients and customers, including any information that keeps the contact real to me and allows me to connect on a personal level with them. You can even include information and links from their social media accounts.

Share My Card” (from my existing cards or build a promotional card) thru email or using a generated link. The Shuffle system allows for up to 5 promotional cards to be built and shared to a contact. You receive notifications when the card is viewed and can follow up as needed with the contact.

Follow-up Reminders” is a tool inside the Shuffle Contact CRM. The reminders can be set for “From Now” or from a date/time you designate.

Conclusion

To maintain a clear line of communication, I can use this contact information for reference whenever I have any communications. Great way to keep up to date and in the know about my new prospective or existing clients or customers.

Shuffle’s Customer Relationship Management process saves me from having to do manual entries and streamlines my workflow.
